Alec Trub

Alec Trub has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Alec worked as a Research Scientist at Incyclix Bio since July 2021. Prior to this, they were a Graduate Student at Duke University from August 2015 to June 2021. Alec also gained valuable experience as an Intern at G1 Therapeutics, Inc. in October and November 2019, where they focused on pre-clinical pharmaceutical development and learned about different stages of drug development. Alec served as the Chief of the Wake Forest Emergency Response Team from May 2014 to May 2015. Alec's experience also includes working as a Research Assistant at Wake Forest University from February 2013 to May 2015, where they performed various techniques within a biochemistry lab and gave presentations to the lab group. Additionally, they worked as a Teaching Assistant for an Organic Chemistry 2 lab section. Alec started their career as an Analyst at Cardiovascular Engineering Inc, where they worked from December 2011 to August 2013.

Alec Trub has an extensive education history. Alec earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Pharmacology from Duke University, spanning from 2015 to 2022. Before pursuing their Ph.D., Alec completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Biology, with a focus on General Biology, at Wake Forest University. Alec attended Wake Forest University from 2011 to 2015.

Aside from their academic pursuits, Alec also holds a certification as an EMT-Basic, obtained from the North Carolina Office of EMS in September 2012.
