Omar Itum

Omar Itum is Head of International Business Development and Investor Relations at Arca. Omar is responsible for strategically executing the company’s product distribution and investor relations processes, with a core focus on non-North American markets. Omar has over 10 years of experience in the long/short equity hedge fund space. Previously, he served as an Economist, Head Trader, and Analyst at a $1.5 billion macro-themed fund and a $350 million consumer-oriented fund. He also founded beVOYAGEUR—an entity that facilitated private-public partnerships in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and the Caribbean. Omar received a Master of Arts in International Relations & Economics at The Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies with concentrations in International Finance and Conflict Management. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Economics from Johns Hopkins University.
