Leonardo Sergi

Leonardo Sergi has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning across several companies. Leonardo is currently the Head of Digital Technologies and R&D Director at ARCA Worldwide since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Haier Europe from 2018 to 2022, where they held the role of IoT - Innovation Director, leading strategy and technical research in advanced technologies such as connectivity, IoT, voice control, AI, ML, and complex algorithms. Leonardo also worked as a Project Manager in the R&D Washing Business Sector, leading projects with high innovation content.

Before joining Haier Europe, Sergi worked at Whirlpool Corporation from 2008 to 2018. Leonardo'sroles during this period included Electronics & Electrical System Platform Architect, Electronics Integration Leader, Global Electronics Leader, Electronics Laboratory Manager, and Global Component Engineer. In these positions, they were responsible for various aspects of electronic project management, system integration, quality control, and team leadership.

Prior to their time at Whirlpool, Sergi worked at ALTRAN RSI Tech as a System Engineer, focusing on quality and component engineering in the Controls and Electronics department. Leonardo also had a brief role as a Hardware and Software Designer at BLT, where they worked on the development of software and hardware for video servers.
