Heather Leah

Heather Leah is an experienced author and media producer with a focus on history and community engagement. Currently serving as an author for Arcadia Publishing, Heather is compiling a book on the hidden histories of North Carolina. Previously, Heather worked as a multiplatform producer at WRAL, where community news dissemination was prioritized. Experience includes being a commissioner and outreach chair for the Raleigh Historic Development Commission, managing content for the Town of Cary, and producing a hidden history segment for ABC11 Eyewitness News. Heather's career is marked by a commitment to preserving local narratives, engaging audiences through digital media, and fostering community connections. Educational background includes studies at UNC Asheville and an Associate of Arts degree from Wake Technical Community College.
