David Rigg

Senior Scientist

David Rigg is currently the Associate Vice President and Principal Scientist at ARCADIS, where they have dedicated 30 years to environmental consulting with a focus on aquatic and terrestrial ecology. Rigg specializes in fish and wildlife impact assessments, ecological risk assessments, and biological surveys, leading a diverse team of engineers and scientists in evaluating risks from various chemical stressors. Previously, they served as a Principal Scientist at Blasland Bouck & Lee Inc. from 1990 to 2005. Rigg holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Modeling and Risk Analysis from the State University of New York College of Environmental Sciences and Forestry and an Associate’s degree in Environmental Technology from Paul Smiths College. Certified by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in electrofishing techniques, safety remains a key focus in Rigg’s work.
