Edward Hagarty

Edward Hagarty is a Principal Engineer at Arcadis since October 2015, specializing in hazard mitigation and resilience through the development of master plans and risk assessments. From August 2008 to May 2022, Edward served as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at The George Washington University, focusing on Environmental Impact Assessment and Environmental Sustainability. Previously, as an Environmental Engineer and Program Manager at AECOM from June 1992 to April 2015, Edward worked with various federal clients, including the US Coast Guard and FEMA, managing nationwide programs. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President and Program Manager at C.C. Johnson & Malhotra, where Edward oversaw water and wastewater planning and hazardous waste investigations for federal and private clients. Edward holds a Doctor of Science in Engineering Management from The George Washington University and a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University.
