Michael Stichter, PhD, PE, currently serves as the Director of Failure Analysis at ARCCA, where responsibilities include conducting failure analyses across various sectors including automotive and industrial equipment, along with electrochemical and thermal systems analysis. Previously, Michael held the position of Senior Engineer at Drexel University, contributing to the Combustion and Fuels Group and managing the Optical Diagnostics Laboratory for laser spectroscopy research. Other experience includes serving as an Applications Engineer at Teledyne Energy Systems, focusing on hydrogen generation technologies, and project engineering for ceramic composite products at GE. Michael's early career featured a role as a Manufacturing Engineer at Pratt & Whitney, specializing in thermal barrier coatings. Michael holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University and an A.T. in Automotive Restoration Technology from McPherson College.
