Preetam Baabu Ruppa Balu

Preetam Baabu Ruppa Balu is a highly experienced technical services manager with a robust background in engineering and process optimization. Currently employed at ArcelorMittal Dofasco since June 2014, Preetam has successfully acted as a technical liaison, identifying process gaps and implementing solutions that have led to significant cost reductions and efficiency improvements. Prior positions include roles as a senior product quality engineer and senior process reliability engineer, where Preetam oversaw product trials, enhanced manufacturing processes, and achieved substantial savings through cross-functional team leadership. Preetam's earlier experience includes internships at Colortech Inc., Cognizant Technology Solutions, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, and the Defence Research and Development Organisation. Preetam holds a Master of Management Science from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Engineering in Metallurgical Engineering from PSG College of Technology.
