Ankur Vashi

Ankur Vashi is a seasoned professional in the electrical engineering field with extensive experience in high-voltage projects and power management. Currently serving as Senior Manager for Central Electrical Projects at ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India, Ankur oversees 220 kV Gas Insulated Substation projects. Prior roles include Manager of Power at Larsen & Toubro Special Steel & Heavy Forging, managing various power distribution systems, and as Manager of Distribution at Torrent Power Limited, where responsibilities included overseeing a comprehensive high-tension power distribution network. Ankur's career began at Essar Steel India Limited, focusing on maintenance and operation of high-voltage transmission lines and substations. Academically, Ankur holds an M.Tech in research on Static VAr Compensators from Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, a PGDBA in Finance Management from Symbiosis Centre of Distance Learning, and a BE in Electrical Engineering from Sarvajanik College of Engineering & Technology.
