Alberto Carrero de Roa

Alberto Carrero de Roa serves as the Head of Sustainability and Communications at ArcelorMittal Spain since May 2015, where responsibilities include managing media relations, overseeing corporate responsibility policy implementation, and coordinating the ESG strategy at the country level. Previously, Alberto held various positions at ArcelorMittal, including Head of Internal Communications in Spain, where duties encompassed corporate intranet management and internal communications strategy deployment. Prior experience includes roles as Human Resources Manager at Corporacion Alimentaria Penasanta and Gonvarri, and as a Health and Safety Supervisor at Profesio Siglo XXI. Alberto began a legal career as a Labour Law lawyer, specializing in personnel administration and consultancy. Educational qualifications include a Master's in HR Management and a Master's in Health and Safety from Universidad de Oviedo, and a law degree from the same institution.
