David White

David White is an experienced engineering professional with a focus on product development and process research in the steel industry. Currently serving as Director of Product Development Global R&D at ArcelorMittal since March 2007, David leads a team dedicated to creating new steel products for automotive, energy, and industrial applications. Prior roles at ArcelorMittal include Director of Process Research and Manager of Continuous Casting R&D Group, where responsibilities included supporting global process research and casting research programs. Before joining ArcelorMittal, David managed product manufacturability research at Ispat Inland Steel and developed process models as a research engineer at Inland Steel Industries. David holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
