Diego Diaz is an experienced professional in artificial intelligence and mathematical modeling, currently serving as an Expert at ArcelorMittal since September 2004, where involvement includes the Business Intelligence Area within the Asturias R&D Technological Centre. Prior to this role, Diego was a Research Engineer and a Researcher at the Universidad de Oviedo from January 2001 to September 2004, focusing on projects related to sensors and data analysis for Arcelor. Diego also held the position of Visiting Scholar at Stanford University in 2015, working within the convex optimization group led by professor Stephen Boyd.
