Farid Asadi

Farid Asadi is a Research and Development Engineer and Project Manager at ArcelorMittal, focusing on the production processes of steels for electromobility and electric vehicles through numerical modeling. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Research position at Université Gustave Eiffel, where work centered on earthen construction and low carbon materials, and a role as Head of the Numerical Modelling and Simulation Team in the ATHOR project, emphasizing multiscale modeling of materials. Farid also held positions as a University Lecturer, Visiting Research Fellow at various institutions, and an educational partner with Itasca Consulting Group. Farid holds a Post-Doctorate from École nationale des ponts et chaussées, a PhD in Materials Science from Université de Limoges, a Master’s in Civil Engineering from Université Grenoble Alpes, and an Engineering degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology.
