Jorge Pino

Jorge Pino is a seasoned professional in operational excellence and project management, currently serving as Directeur de l’amélioration continue and Conseiller principal, Excellence opérationnelle at ArcelorMittal since August 2022. Prior to this role, Jorge worked at Pelican International as Chargé de projets, Génie Industriel from March 2021 to August 2022 and held various positions at Canam Bridges Canada Inc. from 2017 to March 2021, including Coordonnateur gestion de projets spéciaux and Superviseur assurance qualité. Jorge's experience includes production coordination and quality control at Canam from 2010 to 2017, complemented by a background in industrial design. Educational credentials include a certificate in Supervisory Optimization from Université Laval and a degree in Mining Engineering from Universidad de La Serena, along with training in industrial design. A notable achievement includes the design and engineering of components for the Pierre Laporte Bridge in Quebec City.
