Karina Velloso Rodrigues

Karina Velloso Rodrigues is an experienced professional currently serving as the Strategic Initiatives Lead to the VP of Climate Change Europe and Chairman of FR for Energy Transition at ArcelorMittal since July 2011. Previous roles within ArcelorMittal include Executive Support to the CEO of ArcelorMittal France, head of Commercial Controlling for Italy, and Senior Change Leader on the Internal Consulting Team. Prior to this, Karina held positions related to innovation management and electrification at Converteam - GE Power Conversion from January 2007 to July 2011. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Innovation Management from Institut national polytechnique de Lorraine, an Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from Institut national polytechnique de Grenoble, and a degree from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho. Currently pursuing an Executive MBA at INSEAD, Karina is focused on enhancing expertise in strategic leadership and innovation.
