Petr Slovacek

Petr Slovacek currently serves as the Head of Department for Capex Management at Liberty Ostrava and Project Preparation & Management at ArcelorMittal Ostrava, overseeing budgeting, scheduling, and multi-year planning for normative capex projects. Additionally, Slovacek holds the position of Company Executioner and Nominee Director at ArcelorMittal Engineering and Consulting Ostrava, focusing on change management and engineering organization reorganization. With extensive experience at ArcelorMittal since 2006, Slovacek has contributed to technological development and operational excellence in the energy sector, previously serving as Chief Technology Officer for ACIS & Jubail Support, Technical Director for Energy at ArcelorMittal Tubular Products, and Chief of Technology at the Tube Mill Plant. Academic qualifications include an Ing. in Mechanical Technology from VSB - Technical University of Ostrava and a degree as a European Welding Engineer.
