Thomas Leavey

Thomas Leavey has a strong background in information security. Thomas started their career as a Web Development Intern at The New York Times in 2002. Thomas then worked as a Software Development Intern at IBM and Microsoft in 2003. Thomas later joined MKMB/Clearpar as a Software Developer and Database Administrator in 2004. Thomas then transitioned to a role at Ernst & Young as an Application Security Engineer, where they analyzed application code for vulnerabilities and performed penetration tests. From 2006 to 2011, Thomas worked at Trustwave as a Senior Security Consultant and Team Lead, where they reviewed applications for security flaws and conducted network penetration tests. Thomas then joined Bloomberg as an Application Security Architect, where they reviewed products for vulnerabilities and assisted development teams in fixing security issues. Currently, they are the Senior Vice President and Head of Information Security at Arcesium LLC, a cloud-based software and services venture.

Thomas Leavey attended the Rochester Institute of Technology from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
