Jennifer E. Anderson has a diverse work experience in the field of healthcare, primarily focused on rehabilitation and occupational therapy. Jennifer E. started their career at Northwell Health as an Occupational Therapist and later became a Clinical Specialist at Transitions of Long Island. Jennifer then worked at Long Island University as Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Occupational Therapy.

In 2006, they joined Visiting Nurse Service of New York where they held multiple roles including Occupational Therapist, Coordinator of COTA Services, Rehabilitation Clinical Advisor, and Senior Occupational Therapist. During their time at VNSNY, Jennifer spearheaded a new graduate support and mentorship program and developed curriculum for new graduates and new hire onboarding programs.

Jennifer also worked as a Lecturer in health sciences, delivering dynamic and engaging presentations to undergraduate and graduate students. Jennifer E.'spresentations focused on sociocultural diversity in clinical practice.

Currently, Jennifer is working at ArchCare as the Director of Rehabilitation for the ArchCare Senior LIFE PACE Program. Jennifer E.'sresponsibilities include providing leadership and direction to a multi-disciplinary, multi-site Rehabilitation Team, as well as implementing quality initiatives such as falls response processes and standardized care planning tools. Jennifer E. previously held the role of Rehabilitation Supervisor at ArchCare.

Throughout their career, Jennifer has demonstrated a commitment to innovation, leadership, and enhancing the quality of care in the healthcare industry.

Jennifer E. Anderson obtained their Bachelor's degree in Health Services/Allied Health/Health Sciences, General from Duquesne University in the years 1997-2001. Jennifer E. later pursued a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy/Therapist, also from Duquesne University, although the specific start and end years for this program are not provided. In addition to their degrees, Jennifer has obtained various certifications throughout their career. These include being a Board Certified Instructor in Tai Chi for Falls Prevention and Tai Chi for Arthritis from the Tai Chi for Health Institute in the year 2019. Jennifer E. also holds an Association for Talent Development Trainer Certificate from the Association for Talent Development (ATD) obtained in 2014. Furthermore, Jennifer is a New York State Licensed Occupational Therapist, certified by the New York State Education Department in 2002.
