Marcus Madsen

Marcus Madsen has a strong background in technology and IT management. Marcus served as the CIO / Technology Director for the Archdiocese of Baltimore starting in 2017. Prior to that, they worked as the Corporate Technology Director for Sage Dining Services / Sage Dining Canada LLC from 2008 to 2017. In this role, they were responsible for driving corporate growth by leveraging hardware and software innovation. Marcus also implemented security solutions and policies to ensure regulatory compliance. Before that, Marcus worked at GE Aviation from 2002 to 2008 as a UNIX / LINUX Functional Systems Manager, where they managed Unix-based systems and contributed to the implementation of an ERP system. Marcus began their career at Tek Systems as a Linux System Administrator / Consultant, providing support to various clients and ensuring high uptime for mission-critical systems.

Marcus Madsen's education history begins with their high school diploma, which they obtained from John Carroll High School from 1984 to 1988. Marcus then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Baltimore Merrick School of Business from 1995 to 1997. Continuing their education, Marcus achieved a Master of Business Administration Degree with a focus on Information Systems from the same institution between 2003 and 2007.
