Rachelle Morales

Rachelle Morales, MSA, CPA, serves as a Senior Manager of Accounting at Pliant Therapeutics since March 2021, after previously holding the position of Manager, Accounting. Rachelle has extensive experience in accounting and auditing, beginning at Grant Thornton LLP as a Senior Audit Associate, where responsibilities included conducting integrated audits and managing audit engagements for various industries. Additional roles in accounting at Portola Pharmaceuticals and Gymboree emphasized inventory control and compliance with internal controls and audits. Alongside a solid professional career, Rachelle is deeply involved with the Archdiocese of San Francisco as Co-Director of Religious Education, focusing on community engagement and educational activities. Rachelle holds both a Master of Science in Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from San Francisco State University.
