Theogene Habakubaho, an experienced environmental and social consultant, currently serves as a member of the National Environmental Regulatory Council at the Rwanda Association of Professional Environmental Practitioners since January 2022 and as an auditor for ARCHE Advisors. Habakubaho has a strong background in environmental management, evidenced by roles at the Bureau for Engineering and Environmental Studies, The World Bank, African Development Bank Group, and UNDP, focusing on environmental and social impact assessments, compliance, stakeholder engagement, and sustainability reporting. Previous positions also include expertise in environmental protection within various ministries in Rwanda and participation in numerous national and international environmental committees. Habakubaho holds a master's degree in Climate Change from the University of Waterloo, expected to be completed in August 2024, and a bachelor's degree from the University of Rwanda.
