Carrie (Redmon) Walters has diverse work experience in various industries. Carrie started their career at The Walt Disney Company as an intern, where they facilitated activities for children and worked as a lifeguard. Carrie then moved on to Vanderbilt Stallworth Rehabilitation Hospital, where they served as a Recreation Therapist, organizing therapeutic activities for patients with various disabilities and securing certifications for the hospital. Carrie later became the Executive Director of Achilles International - Nashville Chapter, promoting personal achievement and inclusivity through running for people with disabilities. Carrie then transitioned to Utilize Health, initially serving as the Director of Care Coordination, overseeing a complex care management solution. Carrie later took on roles as a Lead Clinical Applications Analyst and the Director of Clinical Applications, contributing to the development and implementation of clinical information systems. Carrie's most recent position was at Arche Healthcare, where they served as the Director of Clinical Documentation, driving patient engagement and improving outcomes for individuals with diabetes. Currently, they work as a Clinical Operations Consultant at Synergy 3C - The Clinical Consulting Cooperative, assisting healthcare businesses in developing and revising their business models and processes.
Carrie (Redmon) Walters obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation/Recreational Therapy from Western Kentucky University, from the year 2001 to 2005. Carrie also holds a certification as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist from the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification, which they obtained in June 2006.
