Liza Gallia has worked in the wine and beverage industry since 1991. Liza began their career as a National Sales Manager for Zara International, where they opened 6 new retail units for the US division and managed the buying and merchandising for US stores, doubling sales revenue to $36 million in three years. In 1994, they became the Beverage Manager at The Laundry Restaurant, where they tripled restaurant wine sales and doubled overall beverage sales to over $1 million. From 1997 to 2004, they worked as a Senior Sales Consultant at WineLauber Imports, increasing territory fine wine sales 400% to over $2 million. Liza then worked as a Category Manager for the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, managing all levels of wine purchasing for the 1.7 billion dollar PLCB. From 2007 to 2011, they served as Eastern Regional Sales Manager for Stewart Cellars, Hollis & Slingshot Winery, increasing total sales for 18 markets. From 2011 to 2016, they worked as Eastern Regional Sales Manager for Frank Family Vineyards, where they were responsible for sales in 15 NE states from Maine to North Carolina. Since 2016, they have been the NE Regional Sales Manager for Archer Roose.
Liza Gallia obtained an Advanced Sommelier certification from the Court of Master Sommerliers. Liza then earned a BA from Smith College. Liza also attended New York University and Mercersburg Academy.
