Sam Goldsmith

Sam Goldsmith is a highly skilled engineering professional currently serving as a Staff Test Engineer in the Battery division at Archer since July 2023. Previously, Sam held a position as a Senior Test Equipment Engineer at Lucid Motors, focusing on custom battery test equipment design, and spent nearly two years at Tesla, where responsibilities included managing the development of new cell test equipment and the mechanical design of 4680 cell test equipment. Earlier experience includes roles at Shure Incorporated and internships at Rolls-Royce, MC Machinery Systems Inc., and Transco Products Inc., involving product validation, metrology, and research assistance. Sam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
