Yves Bureau is a seasoned aerospace engineer with extensive experience in flight control systems and a strong background in systems engineering. Currently serving as a Sr Staff Engineer in Fly By Wire at Archer since March 2022, Yves previously held the role of Flight Controls System Engineering Manager at Thales for nearly 14 years, overseeing system engineering activities and client collaboration. Prior to that, project management expertise was demonstrated at CS Communication and Systems Canada Inc. for FADEC software development. Yves contributed to significant projects for the Airbus A380 as an Autopilot Test Engineer and was involved in autopilot certification support for various aircraft models throughout a progressive career that began in 2001. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Automation and Control from Polytech Lille.
