Jim Gallagher

Jim Gallagher has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Jim currently holds the position of Director - Partner Solutions & Marketing at Archera since February 2023. Prior to that, they were the Director of Success & Solutions at Archera from September 2021 to February 2023.

Before joining Archera, Jim worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a World Wide Specialist Solutions Architect - ElastiCache from July 2020 to September 2021. At AWS, they focused on empowering customers with AWS ElastiCache, contributing thought leadership content, and supporting field teams.

Jim also served as a Solutions Architect at Redis Labs from June 2019 to May 2020, collaborating with customer technical teams, developing account strategies, and presenting the company's capabilities.

Prior to Redis Labs, Jim worked as a Sales Engineer at Aspera, an IBM company, from May 2014 to May 2019. Jim demonstrated Aspera's transport technology and product solutions to enterprise customers.

Jim previously held the role of Director of Operations at One Live Media, leading operations engineering and managing application clusters from July 2013 to May 2014. Jim provided services for high-profile artist sites.

Jim's career also includes the role of Director of IT at the University of Texas at Austin from April 2010 to July 2013, and as a Systems Administrator at Sun Microsystems from April 2008 to February 2010.

Jim started their career as a Senior Computer Support Technician at the University of North Texas from February 2004 to December 2007. Overall, Jim Gallagher has gained valuable experience in various leadership, technical, and customer-facing roles throughout their career.

Jim Gallagher obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from the University of North Texas, which they completed in 2007. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications throughout their career. These certifications include Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2021, Redis Labs | RU201: RediSearch from Redis Labs in September 2019, Sun Certified Solaris Administrator (SCSA) from Sun Microsystems in January 2009, and Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) from Cisco Systems in May 2001.
