Mariam Khoudari

Mariam is a member of Archer’s Bankruptcy, Restructuring, and Insolvency Litigation Group. Mariam’s practice includes the representation of debtors, creditor committees, chapter 7 trustees, and other parties in bankruptcy cases, restructurings and other distressed situations. She also represents clients in general commercial litigation.

Prior to joining Archer, Mariam was an Associate in the Financial Restructuring and Bankruptcy Department of a Philadelphia law firm.

Following law school, Mariam served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Ashely M. Chan in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She received her Juris Doctor from Temple University Beasley School of Law.

Mariam is active with the Consumer Bankruptcy Assistance Project and provides pro bono services for low-income debtors filing a Chapter 7 bankruptcy and seeking a discharge of their debts. During law school, Mariam served as a volunteer interpreter and translator for the University of Pennsylvania Transnational Legal Clinic, where she interpreted among French, Arabic, and English for law student representatives and immigration officers to conduct client interviews and explain substantive immigration law to clients.
