Syed Aley Mehdi

Syed Aley Mehdi is a developer at ArcherPoint who has previous experience working as a software developer and technical team lead. Mehdi has gained strength in C/AL programming, C/SIDE, RDLC report designing, web services and interface integration via XML, SQL querying and SSIS packages, and has a basic understanding of the functionality of NAV and DMS. Mehdi previously worked at incadea India Pvt. Ltd. from August 2016 to September 2018, where they led a team on projects in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Incadea's DMS vertical. At Trident Information Systems Pvt. Ltd., Mehdi was the technical team lead from March 2014 to July 2016, leading a team of 10 people who were responsible for handling support issues and change requests related to NAV & Retail POS for more than 80 stores and 180 POS terminals at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi. Mehdi was responsible for the implementation of various important client requirements, such as boarding pass scanning through the POS to capture customer details, capturing live currency exchange rates through Thomas Cook Server and displaying it to customer display LED, and creation of DD Server to replicate sales from Marks & Spencer's store running on NAV 2013 to NAV 2009 R2 DB using Data Director 3.

Syed Aley Mehdi completed a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science & Engineering from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. Syed also completed high school and intermediate studies in computer science (JAVA), physics, chemistry, mathematics, and biology from Christ Church College.
