Lauren Bedal

Lauren Bedal is a Human-Computer Interaction Designer at Archetype AI since July 2023, focusing on innovative interactions with physical artificial intelligence systems through prompt engineering and multimodal interactions. Previously, Lauren served as Design Lead and Manager at Google ATAP, where notable product launches included Motion Sense on Pixel 4 and the Nest Hub, alongside research in gesture interaction and biometrics. Additional experience includes senior roles at Fjord, Matter, and earlier positions as an Interaction Designer at Convo.com, a visual display designer at Anthropologie, and positions in freelance web and graphic design. Academically, Lauren holds a degree in Dance and Design from The Ohio State University.
