Emily Whitaker

Emily Whitaker, MAEd, LAT, ATC, currently serves as an Athletic Trainer at Architech Sports and Physical Therapy since July 2024. Prior experience includes directing sports medicine for the Virginia Tech Women’s Soccer team from July 2021 to June 2024, and serving as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for both the Virginia Tech Women's Soccer and Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving teams. Previous roles include Intern Athletic Trainer at the University of Richmond, Treatment Assistant at Disc Centers of America, and Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach at Roanoke County Schools. Emily completed a Master of Arts in Educational/Instructional Technology at Virginia Tech and holds a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Roanoke College.
