Joe Yates

Joe Yates serves as the Executive Director of Facility Operations for the U.S. House of Representatives Office Buildings at the Architect of the Capitol, overseeing the operation and preservation of over 5 million square feet of Capitol Hill facilities. Prior to this role, Joe Yates was an Account Manager for the Navy at Stanley Consultants, where responsibilities included developing client relationships and managing architectural-engineering projects. Previous experience with the US Navy featured roles such as Chief of Staff for Real Estate, Deputy Director for the Acquisition Modernization Office, and leadership of various programs focused on energy security and facilities management. Joe Yates possesses advanced degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Business Administration, along with extensive experience in project execution, budget management, and team leadership across multiple organizations, including Lockheed Martin and Boeing.
