John Hurle

John Hurle is a structural engineer who currently works for Architecture for London. John has previously worked for 99 Structural Engineers, BD Solutions, and Design4Structures.

John has always been interested in engineering and construction, and they decided to pursue a career in structural engineering. John started their career at 99 Structural Engineers, where they worked for several years before moving to BD Solutions. In 2018, John joined Design4Structures as an Associate Structural Engineer. John made a strategic decision to focus on residential projects, and they were successful in bringing in several new clients. John worked on approximately 60 projects at all stages, including 35 domestic scale projects. Some of their notable projects include pre-purchase advice for 80 Harley House, a remediation action plan for the High Commission of Pakistan, and MMC Consultancy for a new mixed-use building at 196-222 King's Road.

John Hurle studied Civil Engineering at the University of Bristol and Bauingenieurwesen (Civil Engineering) at Universität Hannover. John is certified by the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and by the Institution of Civil Engineers as a Chartered Civil Engineer (MICE). John also has a certification from NUDURA Insulated Concrete Forms in Installation Training Course - Pass (96%). Finally, they are certified by the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) as a Professionally Qualified Person.
