Ed Vilandrie

Ed Vilandrie is an experienced analyst and operating executive with a strong background in strategy consulting and board leadership. Currently serving as an Analyst at TVG and Operating Executive at The Carlyle Group since September 2021, Ed also holds board member positions at Archtop Fiber, Flare Education, and Wyyerd Group. As of June 2017, Ed has been Executive Chairman at Involta and previously served as a board member at Fusion Connect and a senior advisor at Sixth Street Partners and Burda Principal Investments. Ed co-founded Altman Vilandrie & Company in 2002, a strategy consulting boutique specializing in communications, media, and high tech, and led the firm until February 2020. Educational qualifications include a Sc.B. in Applied Mathematics-Economics from Brown University (1991-1995) and attendance at Bishop Hendricken High School (1987-1991).
