Bongani Mngomezulu

Vice President of Analytics at Archway Health Holdings

Mr. Mngomezulu has spent nearly 14 years building healthcare analytics products and solutions. Before joining Archway Health, he led the Shared Product Services and the software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform team for Deloitte’s life sciences and healthcare analytics products under the ConvergeHEALTH by Deloitte brand.

Mr. Mngomezulu was also the product manager of ConvergeHEALTH’s Population Health Insight, a SaaS-based offering for managing patient populations in risk-based contracts. The solution provided analytic capabilities to help launch several CMS Pioneer and MSSP ACOs, and Commercial ACOs as part of the Northern New England Accountable Care Collaborative (NNEACC). In this role, he designed and implemented a user-friendly engine for defining and operationalizing the computation predictive risk models, and patient stratification algorithms.

Before Deloitte, Mr. Mngomezulu led the development of multiple healthcare claims and episode-based analytic products for ProfSoft Inc. As the original software engineer at ProfSoft, he established the processes and infrastructure for designing, building, operating and supporting all of the analytic products and solutions. Eventually, when ProfSoft was acquired by Thomson Reuters Healthcare (currently Truven Health Analytics), Mr. Mngomezulu led the integration of the ProfSoft capabilities into Thomson Reuters market offerings including the Advantage Suite. He was the lead designer and development manager for a quality measures rules engine for computing HEDIS, AHRQ, AMA and other measures in the National Quality Foundation registry.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Mngomezulu worked in high performance computing with Silicon Graphics Inc.

Mr. Mngomezulu holds an MBA in Managing Technology Intensive Enterprises from Babson College and a BA in Computer Science and Economics from Macalester College.
