Christopher Coulter

Vice President, Actuary at Archway Health Holdings

Chris Coulter is a leader in actuarial analysis with experience in healthcare analytics, provider measurement, bundled payments, accountable care strategy, network pricing, benefit pricing, rate filing, and forecasting. As Vice President, Actuary at Archway Health, Mr. Coulter leads the actuarial team supporting actuarial, underwriting, and decision-making functions.

Before joining Archway Health, he spent a decade at Cambia Health Solutions, where he directed a team of engineers, actuaries, and analysts creating and automating episodic based analytics to engage providers with actionable data. He was the methodological expert on episodes of care, specialist efficiency, and risk adjustment in episodic based programs. Prior to this, Mr. Coulter led a team of actuaries pricing new individual products for the Accountable Care Act.

Mr. Coulter is involved in industry organizations helping to advance the actuarial profession. Most recently, he led the Behavioral Finance subgroup of the Society of Actuaries (SOA). In this role, he instituted several key initiatives to widen the scope of the subgroup and increase its visibility within the SOA.

Mr. Coulter is a Fellow of the SOA, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and a Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst. He holds an M.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of British Columbia and a B.Sc. in Mathematics Simon Fraser University.
