Steven McFarling

Steven McFarling currently serves as Vice President, MSL Chief Actuary and Risk Officer at Core Specialty Insurance Holdings, Inc. since December 2023. Prior to this role, Steven McFarling was with American National for nearly a decade, where roles included Vice President, Chief Health Actuary & Health Risk Officer, overseeing a team of 15 and managing various aspects of health insurance, and Assistant Vice President, Health Risk Officer, where focus was on Medicare Supplement pricing and corporate risk management. Earlier experience includes a position as Senior Actuarial Analyst at Towers Watson, where expertise in retirement plan consulting and valuations was developed. Steven McFarling earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from Texas A&M University in 2009.
