Shawnee Parens

Shawnee Parens has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and organizations. Shawnee is currently serving as the Director of Market Operations at ArchWell Health since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at UW Health as the Director of Ambulatory Operations - Primary Care from 2016 to 2022 and as the Clinic Operations Manager - Dermatology from 2016 to 2018. Shawnee also held roles at Public Health Madison and Dane County, where they served as the Director of Operations from 2015 to 2016 and as the Director of Community Health Division from 2014 to 2016. Earlier in their career, Shawnee worked at Agrace HospiceCare in various leadership positions including Director of Home Care Services from 2010 to 2014, Director of Patient and Family Supportive Services from 2009 to 2010, Director of Volunteer Services from 2006 to 2009, and Organizational Volunteer Coordinator in 2005.

Shawnee Parens obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychology from Drake University in 1995. In 1998, they completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Most recently, from 2020 to 2022, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
