Carole Croteau

Carole Croteau is an experienced banking professional with a comprehensive background in market operations and currency management. Currently serving as SVP and Director of Market Operations at Citizens since December 2011, Carole has also held the role of SVP, Deposit Operations Group Manager, focusing on currency management, cash items, foreign currency, and Citizens Access workflow management. Previously, Carole was Vice President of Currency Management and Cash Items, leading initiatives in reconciliations and investigations at Citizens Access from March 2020 to December 2022. Carole's career began at People's United Bank, N.A., where a tenure from July 1984 to December 2011 included serving as Director of Reconciliations, Adjustments and POD Control. Carole holds an MS in Business Ethics, Compliance, and Forensic Accounting from New England College of Business and a BS in Accounting from Sacred Heart University.
