Matthew Paleen

Matthew Paleen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in consulting and business initiatives, currently serving as Director of Smartsheet at ArcLight Consulting since August 2022, where Matthew leads a team of Smartsheet consultants to implement innovative solutions and enhance client collaboration. Prior to this role, Matthew held numerous senior director positions at Optum from October 2011 to August 2022, focusing on the UHG Smartsheet product, managing enterprise-level programs, and driving the implementation of financial services. Matthew’s earlier experience includes leadership roles at Thrivent Financial, where responsibilities spanned software development, compliance, and regulatory training. Matthew earned a Bachelor of Arts in Management and Economics from the University of Minnesota Morris, further solidifying a strong foundation in business strategy and execution.
