German Salcedo

German Salcedo is the head of business management for LATAM at arcomed. German has over fifteen years of experience in the oil and gas industry. German has a proven track record in leading and motivating teams to achieve results in challenging environments. German is skilled in project management, Six Sigma principles, and developing new business.

German started their career in 2001 with Welltec as a field service manager. In this role, they were responsible for managing all Welltec tractor operations in the region. German also provided support to Field Technologist/Engineers, SDM’s and field operations. German was successful in implementing a new maintenance plan and operational logistics which brought up service quality to 97% (run/misruns), making it the second best in Welltec Worldwide in 2013. German also developed a new business for South East Saskatchewan using Welltec Milling technology to clean out cement stringers in NCS type completions; a business with potential revenue for 2014 of 8MM CAD.

In 2016, German left Welltec to join Rackspace as the head of business management for LATAM. In this role, they are responsible for leading the Rackspace team in LATAM and driving growth in the region. German has been successful in driving results and achieving growth targets. German has also been instrumental in developing new business opportunities and expanding Rackspace’s footprint in LATAM.

German Salcedo has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar and a high school diploma from Champagnat.

German Salcedo reports to Andre Delgadinho, Managing Director, Head of Business Management Australia & New Zealand. German Salcedo works with Eduardo Fernandes - Head of Business Management in Brazil, Argentina & Portugal, Gyula Vertesy - Head of Business Management, Middle & Eastern Europe, and Raschied Schabana - Head of Product Management.
