John McGuire

John (J.P.) McGuire currently serves as the Global Director for Automotive, Brazing, Commercial Transportation & Industrial Product Technology at Arconic, a position held since September 2018. Prior to this, John held various leadership roles at Aleris, overseeing the North American R&D and Applications Engineering teams from August 2015 to September 2018, and spent ten years at Chrysler in multiple management capacities, including Sr. Manager of the Quality Center. John’s earlier career included positions as a Product Development Engineer at US Steel and an Advanced Formability Engineer at Alcan, complemented by foundational experience as a Metallurgical Engineer at Rouge Steel. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Automotive Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical & Materials Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
