Amanda Banks, PHR, SHRM-CP

Amanda Banks, PHR, SHRM-CP, has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Amanda currently serves as a Product Manager at Arcoro, a position they began in December 2021. Prior to this, Amanda was an Inclusion Council member at Greater Des Moines Partnership starting in 2009. Amanda also worked at BirdDogHR, an Arcoro Product, where they held various roles including Implementation Manager, Software Support Manager, and Customer Care between 2017 and 2021. Amanda's previous experience includes serving as an HR Business Partner at Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield from 2015 to 2016 and at UnityPoint Health from 2009 to 2015, where they also held the position of Diversity and Inclusion Chair. Amanda began their career in Human Resources at Principal Financial Group in 1999, where they worked for a decade.

Amanda Banks, PHR, SHRM-CP, completed their business management degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Phoenix from 2005 to 2007. Additionally, they attended DMACC; however, specific information regarding degree and field of study are not available. Amanda has obtained several certifications related to human resources. In June 2008, they achieved the PHR certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI). Amanda also obtained the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from HRCI in March 2021 and in April 2020.
