Claudia Evans, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning multiple sectors. Claudia began their career at Bristol-Myers Squibb Medical Imaging as a Contract Quality Control Chemist. Claudia then worked at Versar as the Director of Biological Defense Laboratory, where they managed scientific and business operations. Claudia later joined Noblis as a Senior Principal, acting as a scientific expert liaison for various projects. Claudia also worked at Booz Allen Hamilton as an Associate III, focusing on intelligence analysis and technical assistance. Claudia then served as the Chief Scientist/Program Manager at Goldbelt Raven, LLC, overseeing a large program providing support services for USAMRIID. Claudia also held the position of Senior Program Manager at The McConnell Group, Inc, managing multiple programs for various government agencies. Claudia has been involved in numerous leadership roles at Cornell University and the Cornell Club of Washington DC, as well as serving on the SIGMA XI Honor Society UTSWMC Chapter. Claudia is currently involved with the ARCS Foundation, Inc., where they have held several roles, including President and Past President.

Claudia Evans, PhD has a strong education history in the field of Biology, Biochemistry, and Nutrition. Claudia obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Nutrition with Honors from Cornell University in 1974. In 1975, they pursued their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Biology with a focus on Nutrition at Cornell University. Afterwards, they attended Columbia University in 1976 to pursue a Graduate School program in Biochemistry.

In 1977, Claudia enrolled at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine to pursue their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Biochemistry. Claudia successfully completed their Ph.D. program in 1981. Following their doctoral studies, they joined UT Southwestern Medical Center from 1981 to 1986 for their postdoctoral studies in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

In addition to their academic degrees, Claudia has obtained various certifications throughout their career. In 2008, they received a Program Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute, Washington DC Chapter, Inc. In 2007, they obtained certifications in Booz Allen Hamilton Business Development, Interpersonal & Team Effectiveness, and Leading and Consulting from Booz Allen Hamilton. Prior to this, in 2005, they obtained certifications in the Biological Personal Reliability Program from the US Army Dugway Proving Ground Life Science Facility, as well as Laboratory Registration Select Agent and Toxin from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Claudia also received certifications in Versar Leadership in 2005, Jacobs Management Leadership in 2004, and Chemical Personal Reliability Program from the US Army Bailment Agreement in 2003. In 2000, Claudia obtained certifications as a PADI Open Water Diver and Scuba Diver from PADI.
