J. Erik Giphart

J. Erik Giphart has over 25 years of experience in the engineering and research industry. J. Erik most recently served as Vice President of Engineering at ArcScan, Inc. since 2020. Prior to this, they were President of Front Range R&D LLC from 2019-2020 and Director of Engineering at Evergreen Research, Inc. from 2018-2019. J. Erik was also Vice President of Spine Diagnostics at Halifax Biomedical Inc. from 2012-2018, Chief Technology Officer from 2012-2018, Interim President from 2016-2017, and Director of Research and Development from 2012-2016. J. Erik was also a Senior Staff Scientist at Steadman Philippon Research Institute from 2004-2012, Director of the BioMotion Laboratory from 2008-2012, and Motion Analysis Coordinator from 2004-2008. Prior to this, they were a Research Assistant Professor at Boston University from 2000-2004 and a Graduate Student and Visiting Research Engineer at NeuroMuscular Research Center from 1993-2000.

J. Erik Giphart obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Boston University between 1995 and 2001. J. Erik also obtained a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Theory from Delft University of Technology between 1989 and 1994. Additionally, they obtained a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute in December 2017.
