Harish Pratapani

Harish Pratapani is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering for AI Infrastructure and Platform at Zendesk since June 2025. Prior to this, Pratapani held the position of Director of Engineering at Google from April 2008 to May 2025, where leadership of a global team of over 180 engineers was emphasized, focusing on the infrastructure of Google Ads—critical to the company's advertising success. Pratapani's earlier roles at Google included responsibilities as a Tech Lead/Senior Staff Software Engineer, overseeing data processing in the Data Infrastructure and Analysis team. Pratapani began his career as a Lead Engineer at DoubleClick from January 2004 to April 2008. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Computer Science, both obtained from Acharya Nagarjuna University.
