Harish Pratapani

Harish Pratapani is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering for AI Infrastructure and Platform at Zendesk since June 2025. Prior to this role, Harish held the position of Director of Engineering at Google from April 2008 to May 2025, where leadership was provided to a global team of over 180 engineers responsible for the infrastructure supporting Google's multi-billion-dollar advertising business, with a focus on full-stack platform technologies, Ads Dev AI, and Generative AI. Previously, Harish worked as a Tech Lead and Senior Staff Software Engineer at Google, specifically for the Data Processing in the Data Infrastructure and Analysis team. Harish began their career as a Lead Engineer at DoubleClick from January 2004 to April 2008. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Acharya Nagarjuna University.
