Stephen Sasscer has held a variety of roles in their career, beginning with their service in the US Air Force Reserve from 2012 to 2021. During this time, they achieved the rank of Airman First Class and Cadet Captain, and completed over 540 contact hours of leadership, followership, teamwork, and management training. Stephen was also a Flight Commander, responsible for training, managing, mentoring, and evaluating 15 junior Cadets.

From 2013 to 2015, Stephen worked for Forest Drapery Hardware as a System Administrator. In this role, they coordinated between Interior Designer, Client’s Production Team, Assembly Operators, and Purchasing Manager to oversee daily output of 80-150 highly customized assembled orders for The Shade Store. Stephen also assisted the Purchasing Manager by monitoring over 3000 inventory item levels and providing predictive analysis for restocking, and provided company-wide on-site technical support for server network, laptops, printers, and tablets.

From 2015 to 2017, Stephen worked as a Branch Manager for Student Painters. In this role, they created an exterior house painting business, marketed and sold their team's services, and managed production of services. Stephen also recruited, interviewed, hired, trained, and led a team of 5 students to provide high quality exterior house painting service, and agreed to a scope of work and completion timeline with customers and guaranteed 100% satisfaction before payment.

Most recently, Stephen has been working as a Project Manager for ArcSource Consulting Inc. since 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Project Manager for Pioneer Land LLC from 2017 to 2021. In this role, they sought and inspected distressed residential properties for purchase, renovation then resale or rental. Stephen also developed preliminary scope of work, estimated total cost of renovation, and analyzed for investment value. Stephen defined scope of work within a set budget and schedule, prioritized order of completion for each project and sub-project, compared Contractor bids, hired Contractors, clearly communicated design needs to Contractors, regularly inspected project progress, tracked and reported any and all variances from schedule or budget, and ensured refurbishment was completed on schedule and within budget.

Stephen Sasscer attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2012 to 2017.
