Amanda Nguyen

Amanda Nguyen has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as Lead, Talent Acquisition at Arc'teryx Equipment, which they have held since August 2022. Prior to that, Amanda worked as a Recruiter at the same company from July 2021 to August 2022. Before joining Arc'teryx, they were employed at Vancouver Coastal Health, where they held various recruitment-related positions. From March 2019 to June 2021, Amanda served as a Recruitment Advisor, and prior to that, they worked as the Lead, Recruitment Associate from August 2018 to March 2019. Amanda began their career at Vancouver Coastal Health as a Recruitment Analyst and Associate from November 2015 to August 2018.

Amanda also has experience outside of the healthcare industry. Amanda worked at the Provincial Health Services Authority as an Executive Assistant from February 2014 to October 2015. Before that, they gained hands-on experience as an Operations Assistant (Co-Op) at Discover Holidays from April 2013 to September 2013.

Amanda's career began at the YMCA of Greater Vancouver, where they held two positions. Amanda initially served as a Membership Services Representative from June 2005 to April 2013 and later transitioned to the role of Camp Coordinator from April 2009 to September 2011.

Amanda Nguyen has obtained a Human Resources Management Certificate from Simon Fraser University. Amanda has also earned a Tourism Management Diploma from Capilano University, with a focus on the Faculty of Global and Community Studies. Additionally, Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts and Social Sciences degree in Psychology from Simon Fraser University. Lastly, they have received a Certificate in Liberal Arts from the same institution.
