Runar Meland

Runar Meland has a strong background in the financial industry, spanning over several companies and roles. Runar began their career as a Marketing Consultant at Trondheim Havn IKS in 1992. Runar then moved on to work at Fokus Fonds as an Equity Sales professional in 1993. Following this, Meland worked at Christiania Markets and Elcon Securities as an Institutional Equity Sales representative from 1994 to 1999. In 1999, they joined First Securities asa as a Partner and Head of Sales for Equities, where they stayed until 2012. From 2012 to 2014, they were the Head of Equities Sales at Swedbank Norge. Meland then worked as the Head of Sales for Equities Norway at Nordea Markets from 2014 to 2017. Currently, Meland holds positions at Arctic Securities, where they started in 2017, as the Head of Sales for Equities and subsequently became the Head of ECM Sales and a Partner in 2023.

Runar Meland completed their education at the following institutions:

- From 2001 to 2002, they attended the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and obtained a degree in Advanced Portfolio Management - MBA.

- From 1996 to 1998, they studied at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and received a degree as an Authorized Financial Analyst.

- In 1992, they graduated from BI Norwegian Business School with a degree in Civil Economics.
