Shaun Johansen

Shaun Johansen has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Shaun is currently (as of 2023) working as a Senior Principal Developer, Storage and Analytics at Arctic Wolf. Prior to this, they served as a Distinguished Developer, Applications at Arctic Wolf from 2022 to 2023, and as a Senior Director of R&D from 2021 to 2022.

Before joining Arctic Wolf, Shaun worked as a Fractional CTO at Inspectify from 2019 to 2022. Shaun was also a Board Member at MIRCS Institute from 2014 to 2021, contributing to the development of their website.

In 2021, Shaun briefly founded and served as the CEO of Hjem Technology, Inc. Additionally, they held the position of Fractional CTO at VineView from 2021 to 2021, as well as Interim CTO from 2019 to 2021. Shaun also worked as a Fractional CTO at Media Mechanics from 2020 to 2021.

Shaun has experience in the education sector as well. Shaun worked as a Web Server Fundamentals Instructor at Nova Scotia Community College in 2019.

Prior to their roles in startups and education, Shaun was the Founder and CTO of Eyeball Inc. (aka Velo Industries Ltd.) from 2013 to 2019. Shaun also served as a Senior Software Architect at Research In Motion from 2010 to 2013.

Shaun's involvement in the community includes being a Board Member at Apps4Good in 2010-2011.

Shaun Johansen attended Nova Scotia Community College - NSCC from 1996 to 1998, where they obtained a degree in Computer Programmer/Analyst. Their field of study focused on Software Development.
