Matthew Georges

Program Manager at ARCTOS

Matthew Georges has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles. Matthew started their career as a Division Head on USS NORMANDY, where they led divisions of 20 personnel and was responsible for auxiliary engineering, communications, and bridge watchstanding teams. Matthew then served as an Operations Officer at Riverine Squadron ONE, overseeing a boat detachment and managing millions of dollars worth of equipment. Following that, they worked as a Program Manager at Surface Warfare Officer School, where they led simulation and research projects, facilitating hardware and software upgrades to training systems. Matthew then became a Department Head at USS Vella Gulf (CG-72), leading a department of 60 personnel, managing program areas, and maintaining accountability for millions of dollars in equipment. Matthew's next role was as a Department Head at Aegis Ashore Missile Defense System, where they oversaw a department of 20+ personnel, planned operations and repairs in challenging conditions, and coordinated with cross-functional teams. Most recently, they joined ACTA Inc. as a Project Manager before transitioning to the role of Program Manager at ARCTOS.

Matthew Georges has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Management, which they obtained from Truman State University between the years 2002 and 2005. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at the Naval Postgraduate School from 2011 to 2013.
